THE STORY BEHIND THE CH327 DINING TABLE
You could be forgiven for thinking that Hans J. Wegner was a man was too busy designing chairs to ever get round to sketching-out a table, but you would be wrong. Despite producing over 500 chair designs in his lifetime, Wegner recognised that a room was its own microcosm, and could not survive on chairs alone. That is precisely why, in 1962, he produced the Hans J. Wegner CH327 Dining Table, to work as the perfect foil for his extensive range of dining chairs, from the Hans J. Wegner Y-Chair to the Hans J. Wegner Cowhorn Chair and Hans J. Wegner Elbow Chairs. The resulting design is a triumph of material and form which is both gorgeous and effortless.
