THE STORY BEHIND THE EGG POD BALL CHAIR.
Bringing a slightly more subtle character to a space than Aarnio's more flamboyant Egg and Eye Ball Chairs, but losing none of his trademark playfulness and childish spirit, the Egg Pod Ball Chair is as versatile as it is distinct. Rumoured to have been inspired by the shape of an acorn shell which Aarnio had picked-up in his garden, he put his inimitable avant garde twist on the natural form by turning it into the perfect sunken chair for lounging and relaxing.
